After a long delay due to the big “C”, the District 34 Picnic is back this year.  Join us on Sunday, June 26 from noon until 8 PM for grilling, sun, rides, and fun for the whole family.  

The 2021 District 34 Picnic at Strickers Grove has been cancelled.  We expect to see the event back on the schedule in 2022.  

This year’s 23rd annual golf outing will be held at Glenview Golf Course (10965 Springfield Pike) on Friday, August 27.  Golfers will enjoy a lunch buffet at 11 AM, including burgers, dogs, brats and much more.  The golfing begins with an 1:00 PM shotgun start – four-person teams will shoot 18 holes of golf and compete in a long drive and closest-to-the-pin contests, along with prizes for the top three teams.  Contact Scott Huentelman for more details!

After the ballots were tallied at our May 11, 2021 meeting, here are our LL912 Grand Lodge Convention Delegates for this year:

The alternate delegates are Suzanne Dunham, Angelo Licata, and Chris Flack.  

Get your 4-player scramble team signed up for this year’s event!  Proceeds benefit the Guide Dogs of America.  The $75 per person entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a BBQ pulled pork dinner and 4 drink tickets.  There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, plus a skins game, closest-to-the-pin and longest drive.  Forms and non-refundable money due by Friday, Sept. 18 to Brother Scott Huentelman.  ONLY 30 FOURSOMES – First come and paid are in!  Don’t miss a great day at Fairfield Greens South Trace with a 12PM tee time start.

IAM Local Lodge 912 Evendale, OH, held their Strike Sanction Authorization Vote on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. The membership voted 98% in support of the Strike Sanction Authorization. IAM members expressed to the Local Negotiating Committee they are ready to stand up for a fair and equitable contract with the GE Company.

Local Lodge 912 is the first of the CBC-affiliated unions to hold their Strike Sanction Authorization.

Your CBC main table negotiating committee will be meeting to continue their work on the Union Proposals on April 16 and 17, 2019 in Dayton, OH.
